2012 National Peanut Festival
Well the 2012 National Peanut Festival has come and gone. The totals are in for recycling and diversion and we are pretty excited! Every year it is our goal to reduce the amount of waste we put into the landfill in everything we do. Our special events division has made it a personal mission to set the standard. At this one event we diverted and repurposed over 30 tons of waste, recycled over 5 tons and saved countless cubic yardage from area landfills. We appreciate everyone who helped us with this mission and look forward to increasing these numbers next year. ” Its nuts not to recycle”
